TelemetryOS uses an annual, device‑based model designed for predictability. Hardware is purchased once, and software is licensed annually with additional platform plan options that match organizational needs.
Pricing Model Overview

- Annual device licenses: Enable cloud management, updates, and monitoring after the first year of hardware ownership.
- Platform plans: Standard, Premium, and Enterprise add capabilities on top of device management.
- Transparent alignment: Costs scale with the number of active screens and the depth of platform features your team needs.
Picking the Right Plan
Choose based on priorities rather than feature checklists:

How Devices are Billed
- Annual license: Each device is billed at $60 USD per year after its first year of service. The first year is included with the hardware purchase.
- Prorated alignment: When you add new devices mid-term, their license fees are prorated to align with your account’s anniversary billing date. This ensures you receive a single, consolidated bill for all devices each year.
- Inventory management: Remove unused devices from your inventory to keep your billable device count accurate. Rule of thumb: If a device is deployed and receiving content, plan for it to be licensed and billed annually after its first year.
Annual Cycle and Alignment
- Account anniversary: All device licenses renew on your account’s annual anniversary.
- Proration: Mid‑cycle additions typically prorate to align with that renewal date.
- Planning: Review device counts and plan tier before renewal to avoid surprises.
Payment
- Self‑serve: Card payments via our billing provider for Standard and Premium tiers; fast upgrades and simple management.
- Enterprise: Custom invoicing (e.g., ACH/wire), security reviews, and procurement processes handled with your account team.
- Currency: Pricing is generally denominated in USD; regional considerations will apply for outside the USA.
Policies
- Annual terms: Subscriptions renew annually unless changed before the renewal date.
- Non‑refundable once invoiced: Credits typically apply to future cycles rather than refunds.
- Notifications: Renewal reminders are sent in advance so teams can review counts and plan needs.
